Field Engineer Market: Various Sites Across the US; 60-80% domestic travel Contract role with Apex Systems Relevant Experience Required Scope:
  • Performs a variety of Telecommunications Engineering tasks which are broad in nature and concerned with the design and implementation of integrated systems for data transmission in both digital and analog environments.
  • Projects will include fiber optic, microwave point to point , telecom outside / inside plant planning and installation in remote locations in aid to network installations.
  • Position will be collocated with Infrastructure Technology Services personnel in support of planning for and deployment of telecom and/or data network projects.
  • Key responsibility will be to insure proper system configuration of local PBX, Soft Switch Applications, and change control and represent design engineering in the field.
  • Proficient in VISIO or CAD design, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and the ability to travel 60-80% domestically.
