Position Overview TheTraining Support Specialistis responsible for maintaining computerized and hard copy employee training records, conducting daily audits, and performing other administrative duties as required. Maintain both regulatory required aircraft maintenance training and training desired by the Aircraft Maintenance Departments and Quality Control Departments to ensure our training department remains in compliance with Rules and Regulations.

Maintain computer and hard-copy employee and contract employee training

records.

Assist during FAA, vendor, and internal audits.

Perform monthly audits of selected records for accuracy.

Provide administrative support to ensure efficient departmental operations.

Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff.

Assist in the coordination of office events and meetings.

Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner.

Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong computer skills and experience.

Audit completed training forms for accuracy and completeness.

Assist customers with administrative duties as may be required.

Enter data into several databases (HAECO & customers’)

Monitor employees in classes or labs while assigned to training dept.

Prepare lesson plans, rosters, multimedia equipment for instructor classes.

Assist employees in logging into several databases, Customers, Vendors, HAECO, payroll etc.

Assist other sites if the need arises as it pertains to training.

What you need: (Requirements)

High School diploma or equivalent

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to interact with a wide variety of people including customers and the F.A.A.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.

Language (read, write, and understand English)

Normal or corrected hearing and vision.

Normal office environment where approximately sixty (60) percent of work is performed in a sitting position with the remaining time walking and moving around the office area.

Filing duties require typical bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, etc.

Able to work with minimal supervision.

Subject to noises in excess of 85 dB.

Normal or corrected hearing and vision.

Occasional trip to the hangar area may be needed to deliver correspondence weighing less than twenty-five (25) pounds.

Local and out of town travel may be required.

Preferred

Associate degree in business, information systems, or equivalent preferred

One (1) year HAECO computer system experience preferred

Knowledge of FAA regulations, HAECO operations, quality and Training manuals preferred.

Knowledge/experience of Aircraft preferred. (Administratively or technically).

Strong public speaking skills, possibility to be in front of large groups.

Phone, fax, scan, and email proficiency for filing of data.
