I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. - Be a servant leader on Scrum teams delivering high value increments of work following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Work with Product Owners to align Scrum team activities and deliverables with Stakeholders release plans and sprint goals.
- Coordinate and facilitate and/or coach Scrum team members to facilitate Scrum events, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Help the Scrum teams to collaborate and communicate effectively within the team and across other Scrum teams.
- Escalate impediments to the appropriate team member or manager for review and resolution.
- Track and communicate Scrum team velocity, team capacity, team productivity, and related team planning and performance metrics.
- Champion continuous improvement activities across the Scrum teams to increase productivity.
- Provide Agile/Scrum coaching to Scrum team and team members.
- Support the Development Team with the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) process.
- Ensure Scrum teams are practicing core agile principles
- Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience.
- Four (4) years of experience serving software delivery teams as a Scrum Master.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to utilize coaching and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and to be a change advocate.
- Experience utilizing agile project management and code management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jira).
- Scrum Master certification is required.
- Passion for creating an enjoyable and productive team environment.
- Five (5) years of experience serving software delivery teams as a Scrum Master and/or related software development or delivery roles.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework and its application in product development and delivery.
- Experience working throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience in Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams is preferred.
