Northrop Grumman Aeronautics has an opening for a Sr Principal Cybersecurity Engineer Systems Test - IPT Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Melbourne, Florida. Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Platform Security analysis Platform Security remediation Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 9 years of Cybersecurity and Test Engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 7 years of Cybersecurity and Test Engineering experience Knowledge of test engineering principles and concepts Experience in documenting the security posture of a system and reporting on security controls assigned to the system Experience validating security assessments and reviews Direct experience with DoD Cyber test activities, security processes, and documentation/reporting using RMF, DIACAP, NIST, CNSSI, or NISPOM guidance as required Experience submitting ongoing authorization inputs and artifacts to support authorizing authority's ongoing assessment and authorization decisions Must possess familiarity/knowledge of both Windows and UNIX/Linux based platforms Experience using assessment tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Nessus scan engine, Nmap, Wireshark, Must possess certification as required by DoD Directive 8570 for an IASAE Level II Position Experience using and working with fundamental information technology principles, concepts and techniques to including software languages, design concepts, test methods, and integration practices Ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance and maintain it throughout employment. Must have a minimum of an Interim DoD Secret clearance to start. Preferred Qualifications: Active DoD Secret clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance Experience with the Risk Management Framework (NIST SP 800-53) Experience in the analysis and implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) controls Experience using Security Compliance Checker (SCC) and STIG Viewer tools Extensive experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux based platforms Experience with the application of the RMF to the DoD (DoDi 8500.01 Cybersecurity). Experience with the application of NIST 800-171 (Controlled Unclassified Information). Ability to understand and apply company methodologies, standard, and policies Experience submitting ongoing authorization inputs and artifacts to support certifying authority's ongoing authorization decisions to operate and test decisions Experience performing moderately complex security information technology tasks independently Red Hat Linux Certified System Administrator certification Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
