Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Melbourne, Florida. The successful candidate will be entrusted with overseeing the financial operations within the industry, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing key insights to company leaders for decision-making. This role requires the individual to manage cash accounts, supervise accounting and finance departments, and coordinate external auditor activity.100% In OfficeResponsibilities: Oversee the collection and consolidation of financial data Manage and project cash flow while overseeing cash accounts Supervise the performance of the accounting and finance departments Develop strategic plans for financial operations to ensure sustainability Prepare internal and external financial statements for review Ensure the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process Provide financial insights to company leaders for informed decision-making Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes within the organization Coordinate procurement activities to ensure cost-effectiveness Establish and maintain financial controls to avoid discrepancies Assess and improve accounting procedures for efficiency Identify, develop, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Oversee bank and treasury activities to ensure financial stability Manage the recruitment, training, and retention of personnel in the accounting department.Requirements Degree in AccountingAt least 15 years of experience Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management and operations Demonstrated experience in Auditing Familiarity with Budget Processes and their implementation Ability to manage Cash Activity effectively Experience in creating and interpreting Cash Flow Forecasts Proficient in preparing and analyzing Consolidated Financial StatementsMessage Kathy Downs on LinkedIn for more informationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
