Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - Required

Supervisory experience and oversight of staff deliverables -Required

Exposure to Non-profit/governmental fund accounting - is a plus

Additional educations such as MBA -is a plus

CPA or experience from Public Accounting and/or Audit - is a plus

Position Overview: This is a state role performing Controller level tasks for the Fiscal Dept. including full cycle accounting and financial planning and reporting; accounts payable, review of payments and invoices; budgeting, fiscal year and projection of year-end balance, expenditure tracking - and analysis and recommendations; Review of misc. contracts, vendor agreements, services and grants; and standard documents related to non-profit/governmental fund accounting. Audit, review and report running. Experience supervising a team with oversight of work making necessary adjustments for compliance. Use of MS Office and Excel.Requirements
