Description unior Financial Analyst (Excel)Summary:We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst with proficiency in Excel to support our finance team in analyzing financial data and preparing reports. This role will involve assisting in financial modeling, data analysis, and report generation using Excel. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:
Assist in financial analysis and modeling activities to support decision-making processes.
Utilize Excel to analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for financial analysis.
Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by senior analysts or managers.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
Provide support in the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and processes.
Assist in financial reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and formulas.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with financial principles and terminology.
Prior internship or work experience in finance or related field is a plus.
Knowledge of other financial software or tools is advantageous.
