Responsibilities: Responsible for leading one or more HEDIS/Stars project measures by researching and collecting data, developing interventions, and following up to ensure the quality improvement outcomes desired are in line with expectations. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • HEDIS/Star measure ownership, reporting, and performance improvement as necessary.
  • Identifies data resources. Collects data. Summarizes data and creates and/or updates various reports as decision support tools for management.
  • Leads or participates in special initiatives including projects, meetings, conference calls or oversight of temporary help.
  • Ensures that resulting process changes are in compliance with appropriate guidelines.
  • Provide training to others within area on changes.
  • Monitors area performance and meets with managers to provide feedback.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a HS diploma and a minimum of 2 additional years of related education and a minimum of 5 years experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. HEDIS/Stars knowledge and experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to develop and modify SQL queries preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and PC skills strongly preferred.
