Job DescriptionThe Sr. Manager, Facilities will be responsible for leading the management of Corporate and North America brands facilities. This role will engage across all departments and levels as it relates to facilities and office support. Areas could include appearance, construction, maintenance and repair. Including but not limited to, the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, building and other facilities. This leader will be responsible for managing Office Services. Activities to include Planning, budgeting and scheduling all facility modification including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs. Must be able to review and interpret construction plans/drawings and engineering calculations concerning structural, mechanical and architectural issues and designs. Provides assistance and recommendation of alternate methods of construction as needed. This role will provide recommendations and reporting to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.Job Functions:

Manage service provider and contracts. Coordinate and execute all on-site events through collaboration with other departments. On site point person for all facilities and site services activities, questions, comments, etc. Meet weekly to discuss daily operations and CAPEX projects, budgets, upcoming CAPEX projects & improvements and also discuss the re-bid of Subcontract services like landscaping, housekeeping etc.

Oversee the operation and maintenance of all company facilities, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and meet regulatory requirements. Responsible for managing all leases for all offices at least NA if not globally

Implement best practices in facilities management to enhance operational efficiency and cost effectiveness. Partners Sets a plan of action around current space planning, facility update and maintenance needs that supports employee satisfaction while balancing cost management as the focus of our investments shifts to the transition to new facilities. Partners with multiple departments to support on site events.

Develop and implement strategic plans for facilities management and capital projects including setting the strategy and full cycle planning around current facilities and collaborate with project owner on the transition to a new workplace involving the purchase, design and setup of the new space.

Collaborate with finance department and senior management to establish budget forecasts, ensuring adequate funding for facilities operations and workspace initiatives. Negotiate contracts with external vendors and service providers, manage vendor relationships including approach as we transition to a new location which may require re-negotiations and/or contract reviews.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in facilities management and project delivery processes.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required. Master’s degree MBA or related field preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum 7+ years related experience in sourcing and Facilities with progressively increasing responsibilities required. This role requires someone with leadership experience, business savvy, and the ability to influence spend decisions is required. Cruise line experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience in maintenance trades, knowledge of all section of the Florida Building Code, Business codes

Familiarity with telecommunication equipment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multi task

Must be able to review and interpret construction plans/drawings and engineering calculations concerning structural, mechanical and architectural issues and designs

Licenses & Certifications:

Public Administration, Construction Management required

Physical Demands: Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities.Travel: Less than 25% travelTravel Type: Ship based and Shore basedWork Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.This position is classified as "in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida from Tuesday through Thursday. Employees may work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Some positions may require additional in-office time each week and final schedule is determined by your leader. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft.
