Description We are seeking a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team located in Miami, Florida. The role involves managing intercompany transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the billing cycle. You will also be tasked with managing vendors and maintaining regular working hours from 9:30 to 5:30. This role offers an exciting long-term opportunity in the telecom industry.Responsibilities: Manage intercompany transactions to ensure accurate and timely financial information Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to maintain timely and accurate payment records Oversee the billing cycle to ensure all invoices are issued correctly and payments are received on time Manage vendors to maintain good relationships and ensure timely delivery of services or products Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and month-end close activities to ensure accurate financial records Reconcile credit card statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy Maintain regular working hours from 9:30 to 5:30 to ensure consistent availability for team collaboration and customer service.This position will report into a CPA certified Accountant that is able to train and develop and sign off on credits for anyone seeking to pursue a career as a CPA.If you are interested in hearing more about this position, please call me Janet Garcia 786-393-4588 or email me janet.garcia@roberthalf.100% onsite now and in the futue will offer hybridRequirements Minimum of two years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Bank Reconciliations Knowledge and understanding of General Ledger operations Ability to prepare and maintain Journal Entries Experience with Month End Close procedures Ability to perform Bank Account Reconciliation Experience with Credit Card Reconciliation Proficiency in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
