Job Description:
The Construction General Worker/Driver will be responsible for providing general labor support and driving services to assist with the smooth operation of our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general labor tasks such as site cleaning, materials handling, and assisting skilled workers,
coordinating taking workers to and from multiple jobsites.
Drive company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites.
Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring safe and efficient transport.
Assist with site preparation, including setting up equipment, laying out materials, and following safety
guidelines.
Maintain construction vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and clean.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in other duties as assigned by the Site Manager or Project Foreman.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a general worker or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to handle physical labor and heavy lifting.
Knowledge of basic tools and equipment used in construction.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work at different construction sites and adapt to changing schedules.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working on construction sites.
Forklift or heavy vehicle license (if applicable).
Familiarity with basic site procedures and tools.
