Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to support projects in IT, telecom, low-voltage cabling, security cameras, POS systems, EV charging, and other technical service deployments. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow client requirements while representing 4BE Networks professionally onsite.
Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber)
Deploy and troubleshoot networking equipment (switches, routers, access points)
Perform structured cabling for retail, warehouse, and office environments
Install and service security cameras, alarm systems, and access control
Support telecom/POS system installs and troubleshooting
Conduct site surveys and provide detailed documentation
Assist with EV charging station installs and related electrical prep (with supervision if required)
Follow scope of work, check-in/out procedures, and client deliverable requirements
Communicate effectively with dispatch/project coordinators
Requirements
Experience in IT, telecom, or low-voltage cabling (1–3 years preferred)
Knowledge of structured cabling, terminations, and testing tools
Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN/WAN, switches, access points)
Tools required: laptop with Ethernet port, punch-down tool, RJ45 crimper, tone tester, drill, basic hand tools
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites
Strong professionalism and communication skills
