Florida Transportation Systems, Inc. is seeking applicants for a Service Technician
position on our team! Looking for an independent and motivated technician with a focus on
customer service. Successful candidate will maintain and repair customer owned vehicles in an assigned area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Professionally represent FTS and our manufacturers as a reliable support technician
Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
Perform routine preventative maintenance when deemed necessary
Respond to work order requests and create repair orders in a timely fashion
Work under the direction and report to the Service Manager
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience in automotive repair, engine repair, automotive a/c repair, electrical or other related fields a PLUS but not required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Must provide and maintain tools as specified
Ability to interact positively, constructively, and professionally with existing clientele and accounts.
Florida School Bus Inspector Certificate or A.S.E. certification in bus or heavy truck repair
is a PLUS
Diesel engine experience with current certifications, a/c diagnostic and repair experience is a PLUS
EV experience is a PLUS
No formal experience necessary for the right candidate
