The company’s engineered products enable process and product innovation, while minimizing emissions and waste.The Opportunity:The VP/GM will be responsible for developing and executing transformative commercial and innovation strategies to aggressively grow sales, service, customer installed base and market share. This individual will have direct and indirect revenue responsibility for approximately USD $300M globally, with an ambition to scale to $400M in 3 years leveraging a strong business and technology foundation. The VP/GM will have full responsibility for the P&L and be focused on achieving sales and operating profit objectives and providing timely and accurate sales and financial forecasting.The VP/GM will establish and maintain robust industry familiarity and relationships to gain an authoritative understanding of sales and marketing opportunities. They will move quickly to build trusted relationships with customers and key account opportunities. In addition, the VP/GM will make a personal investment in fostering internal relationships to secure the continual support of the Company’s global resources and to nurture a culture based on respect, teamwork, communication, and results.Critical is the ability of the VP/GM to continue to build a world-class team leveraging commercial & operational excellence enabled by technology, powered by Diversity & Inclusion leveraging the Danaher Business Systems (DBS). This includes identifying opportunities to “raise the bar” for individuals and for the team by instilling their value-selling vision and agenda as an integral part of the company’s goals for success. Additionally, this person will be responsible for providing vision and expertise to the Company’s sales, marketing, and engineering organizations wherever and whenever it is lacking. They will be equipped and prepared to provide deeper insight, best practices, core competencies, and skills to complement their direct reports.To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to:

Lead and inspire a cross-functional engaged organization including heads of Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations and Program Management to achieve revenue and operating profit targets.

Lead the Global team through effective Level 2 (L2) meetings and other Daily Management to ensure proper prioritization and proactive Problem Solving.

Create sustainable capability within the commercial organization by identifying improvement opportunities and leading kaizen activities.

Champion world-class sales management by embracing and evolving Danaher Sales Initiatives and Funnel Management Standard Work. Develop and elevate their functions and migrate towards value/solutions competencies.

Ensure the success of new product launches by overseeing the development and implementation of impactful product launch plans.

Drive the development of new products based on customer/market validated valuable problems, and ensure they are effectively communicated to, and executed against.

Maintain market and competitor intelligence and develop proactive strategies to maintain Company competitiveness through Gemba field and customer visits.

Drive the continuous deployment and improvement of process through the Danaher Business System (DBS).

Develop succession capability and build talent funnels to ensure growth objectives for Pall & Danaher.

Education and/or Competencies:

The successful candidate’s educational background will include an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or Engineering. An advanced degree is strongly preferred.

Creative and intellectually curious demonstrating strong conceptual thinking skills.

Quantitative and qualitative analytical and problem-solving skills supported by strong business acumen.

Able to develop and execute winning strategies to achieve results.

Strong communicator, both verbal and written, to engage, influence and get buy-in from all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

Strong work ethic with ability to manage and prioritize a diverse mix of issues, responsibilities, and challenges daily.

Team orientation with highly developed cross-functional management skills.
