Description We are in search of a Property Accountant to join our team located in Orlando, Florida. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Property Accountant, you will be instrumental in assisting with property accounting, interfacing with vendors and tenants, and collaborating with property management and maintenance staff. Responsibilities: Assist with property accounting activities Interface with vendors and tenants regularly for effective communication Participate in the preparation of common area expense reconciliations Collaborate with property management and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations Assist in the administration of new tenant move-in and move-out actions Input executed leases approved by the Director of Property Management Prepare Monthly Report Packages for review Handle the preparation of lease abstracts and maintain tenant files Review tenant charges and late fees for accuracy and address any discrepancies Coordinate rent collections/delinquencies, reconciliations, and report to the Director of Property Management Process and approve invoices as required Coordinate and review maintenance with Sr. Maintenance Engineer and other maintenance staff as required Administer work orders and reporting in JOBBER software Maintain tenant, vendor, property files, and contacts effectively Handle tenant and vendor calls professionally and timely Maintain mail and copy logs to ensure all documentation is up-to-date and organized. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Knowledge of CapEx Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Ability to perform Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Understanding of Budget Processes Ability to manage Cash Activity Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
