CNC Operator

Have you always worked with tools and machines but never had the chance to use a CNC machine? Are you a detailed person that has a knack for following directions? Then we have a  CNC Operator position you should apply for! The right candidate will operate our cutter to cut Various patterns to supply parts for production departments to make our  World Winning Boats!  The schedule is Monday to Thursday. Overtime may be required at times based on the needs of the business. Duties and Responsibilities:Must maintain the CNC cutter’s maintenance and uploads of new parts.Organize the kit pieces by part number/boat and stack them onto shelves for the operators.Inspects all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards. Will work under time constraints and a deadline-driven environment.Keep work area clean and orderly.Any other duties as assigned by management.Skills and abilities for success in this position:Give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, and ask questions as appropriate.Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents. Manage one’s own time and respect the time of others. Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.Must be able to work effectively as an individual or with a team.Must be able to perform tasks under time pressure deadlines. Must have strong attention to detail.The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.Tools used in this occupation include but are not limited to:Personal Protective Equipment- Safety GlassesHand Tools- scissors, screw gun, drill, etc.
