We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food service team. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Engage with guests to recommend menu items, upsell specials, and enhance their dining experience through personalized suggestions
Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing tasks, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring timely service
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and health regulations
Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events such as nightclub nights or private parties
Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to create a seamless dining experience that reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or upscale establishments
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations
Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
Experience in food preparation or kitchen support is a plus but not required
Previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous for understanding guest flow management
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event nights such as nightclub evenings or private functions
Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and team members
