Job Description:
We weigh and assemble all of our ingredients prior to placing the ingredients on the production floor. This candidate would be responsible for using our recipe to pull the proper ingredients from storage, weigh the ingredients into pre-measure containers, and then palletize them by recipe. You will be on your feet for the majority of the day. There will be a lot of walking, standing, and moving pallets with a manual pallet jack/forklift as well as lifting and carrying of ingredients. Heavy lifting is required as some ingredients weigh up to 55 pounds. You could be exposed to different temperatures throughout the day due to differently climatized warehouses.
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has great attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
Job Requirements:
· Bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
· Must be very clean and maintain organization to ensure we are meeting our food safety guidelines.
· Attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
· Must have reliable transportation. Attendance and punctuality are important!
· Must have basic math skills.
· Time management skills are crucial; one must be able to work independently to meet deadlines.
· Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Must have a positive and friendly attitude toward their work and others.
· Experience in manufacturing or past work experience in production is a plus but not required.
· A willingness to learn other production processes in our facility and jump in when needed. The main goal should be to keep our clients happy!
Shift Hours:
6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Monday through Friday
We are currently working some weekends and do pay overtime.
