Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced dispatcher with at least 2 years of experience in the delivery service industry, particularly in Central Florida, to manage and optimize our delivery operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods to our customers while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Dispatch and coordinate delivery drivers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Monitor driver routes and schedules, making real-time adjustments as needed.
Communicate with drivers and customers to provide updates on delivery status.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and driver activities.
Collaborate with the operations team to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience as a dispatcher in the delivery service industry.
Knowledge of Central Florida, Tampa, and Volusia County geography and traffic patterns.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using dispatching software and GPS systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.
