Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in Plantation, Florida as a Cash Application Specialist in the insurance industry. In this role, you will be focused on cash applications, collections, payment posting, data entry and documentation, account reconciliations, and using Microsoft Excel extensively for pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of cash applications Collection activities for overdue accounts Posting of payments to customer accounts Performing data entry and maintaining documentation for transactions Reconciliation of customer accounts Use of Microsoft Excel for pivot tables and VLOOKUPs Maintaining a strong understanding of business to business collections Ensuring all manual processes are completed effectively and efficiently. Requirements Proficiency in cash applications within the insurance industry Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions Experience in B2B collections Strong data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency Ability to perform account reconciliation tasks Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
