Our busy cabinet company is looking for a salesperson/designer take a lead position and help build the company.
The right candidate has at least 3 years experience. Ideally with experience running 2020.
Must have experience measuring, doing layouts, entering orders, maintaining communications and scheduling installers
Also of value will be ideas and interest to do marketing. Excellent communication skills are a must.
Must speak English, be local and ready to be employed, with relatively clean driving record and car (we pay mileage).
Also we will supply office, computer, and software.
Job is generally full time but with somewhat flexible hours.
Pay by commission in multiple tiers for finders fee, design, ordering and management for Stock cabinetry.
Finders fee for custom work.
Its an unusual opportunity. Most people want pay up front.
For someone who can afford it this will be a unique opportunity to build a business.
We had a full time employee working in this capacity. She was really good but didn't enjoy or practice marketing.
When her sales pipeline dried up she quit. I have covered the department since then but have my hands full with the custom side of things. This part of the business could be so much more. It could dwarf the custom side if someone really applied themselves and marketed well. We have a good reputation on google and there is still a ton of building going on. I feel like a marketing campaign towards contractors, handymen and designer would be very productive with almost no cost. I have done this before. A few good contacts will create a great income stream.
