We are a high-volume, well-established upholstery shop in central Sarasota looking for a skilled Cutter & Sewer to join our friendly and professional team. This is a full-time position with consistent year-round work.
Position: Cutter & Sewer (No Full Upholstery Required)
Responsibilities:
Cut and sew materials for:
Indoor/outdoor cushions
Marine upholstery
RV cushions
Furniture panels and components
Work with vinyl, fabric, leather, and specialty marine materials
Operate industrial sewing machines with accuracy
Follow patterns, templates, and measurements precisely
Maintain high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
Keep work area organized and assist with prep work for onsite upholsterers
Requirements:
Experience cutting and sewing upholstery materials (not required to do full upholstery)
Ability to read patterns, templates, and measurements accurately
Strong understanding of industrial sewing machines
Experience with marine vinyl and foam work is a plus
Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
