Volt-Tech is seeking Journeyman Electricians & Helpers for work in roughly a 1 hour radius of our shop. If you feel that you meet the criteria below (or most of the points) please email me your resume.
We are primarily a commercial construction electrical contractor but we will consider residential experience as well.
1) Have working knowledge of the NEC
2) Care about the profitability of the company (see note at the bottom)
3) Be able get to the job site on time.
4) Have hand tools and battery drill
5) Be able to fill out service and CO tickets consistently
6) Be able to run small projects and supervise a small crew (1-3 others)
7) Be able to bend conduit
8) Able to work outdoors in the heat
9) Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
10) Able to perform work on uneven surfaces; frequently climb ladders, on/off equipment and work from various heights
11) Able and willing to walk, stand, bend and sit for long periods of time
12) Able to use your hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning and pulling
13) Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner.
