Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Low Voltage Technician for an immediate start in the Melbourne, FL area
PAY: $23-$25/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: 40 HRS a week
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 PM
START DATE: Immediately
DURATION: Temporary to permanent
Low Voltage Technician Job description:
Low voltage technician with experience in access controls, security alarm systems, cabling, terminations, and cat 5 and other lower voltage cables.
Qualifications for Low Voltage Technician:
At least 3 years of experience in the field. Experience on commercial projects, hospitals, schools, etc. running, pulling test and dress structure cable, and management/ lead experience on projects.
Will be mostly responsible for CCTV, Access Controls, Cameras, RJ45
BICSI certificates/Apprenticeships, or schooling certificates are a plus.
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Other Requirements for Low Voltage Technician:
Must have PPE including steel-toe work boots, a hard hat, gloves, high visibility vest, and protective eyeglasses.
Must have standard low-voltage hand tools.
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
