CEI Senior Inspector

AECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Senior Inspector to support transportation and infrastructure projects located in Tallahassee, Florida. This role will be responsible for overseeing construction activities to ensure work is performed in compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties. Performs field inspections and/or audit duties and maintains inspection records. Ensures all contract documents represented by working drawings and specifications are properly executedPerforming highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, marking, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field testsCoordinating and managing the lower level inspectorsPerforming work under the general supervision of the Project AdministratorRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsResponsible for setting own project deadlinesProvides on the job training to new employeesResponsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection dutiesPerforms daily field inspections and maintains inspection recordsParticipates in punch lists, testing, and commissioningTracks quality assurance progressProvides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers
