JOB DUTIES: General: This position is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, inputting, and monitoring financial and programmatic data for the Supplemental Food Programs. Responsible for assisting the Household Program section in a range of activities including managing program data, preparing reports, providing technical assistance, and performing administrative duties. Reviews, analyzes and monitors financial redemption data from the Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). Verifies check deposits with the contracted financial institution and timely communicates discrepancies or concerns. Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of processing. Compiles monthly and year-end financial reports. Maintains accurate records and manages electronic database for growers and farmers markets participating in, or interested in, the FMNP program. Provides support to the Women, Infant, and Children (WIC)–FMNP Coordinator by assisting with the development of training sessions and best practices for the operation of the FMNP, particularly related to the collection of program payments and provides training to WIC-FMNP farmers as needed. Maintains, organizes, and dispatches records and documentation on program participants, correspondence, monitor visits and reports in a readily accessible format for the program and WIC-FMNP participants. Assists the WIC-FMNP Coordinator with conducting outreach for program expansion. Assists the WIC-FMNP Coordinator in developing evaluation tools to determine program effectiveness. Attend meetings involving state and feral laws and regulations effecting WIC-FMNP. Assist the WIC-FMNP Coordinator in preparing memos, funding requests, legislative analyses and other correspondence related to WIC-FMNP. Gathers, reviews, analyzes, and inputs programmatic data in to, databases as needed. Maintains accurate records and provides information as requested. Develops and disseminates program related surveys for participants in the Supplemental Food Programs. Gathers survey responses and analyzes results. Prepares recommendations for implementation of processes, procedures, or organizational changes. Assists with the emergency management functions of the bureau during periods of disaster. Performs other related duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) federal nutrition program requirements and regulations.

Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication.
