Bookkeeper

Description We are in search of a 30-hour a week part-time Bookkeeper to join our team located in Tampa, Florida. This role is based in the industry of property management and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The primary functions of this role include rent collection, property inspection, vendor bill payments, and maintaining financial records.Responsibilities: Oversee the process of rent collection from tenants Carry out regular property inspections to ensure proper maintenance Manage the payment of bills from vendors in a timely manner Handle the process of cutting checks for various financial transactions Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records Prepare and post journal entries as part of the accounting process Utilize Skyline software for property management tasks (training will be provided if necessary) Manage data entry tasks related to accounting and property management Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of bookkeeping recordsRequirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles Strong skills in Data Entry Capability to make Journal Entries Experience in Entering Vendor Invoices Proficiency in using accounting software Strong organizational skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to accounting and taxation.
