The HRP&D Technology Solutions team is a group of professionals who support the HR organization with technology enhancements. The team drives changes and supports requests for changes in our HR Technology applications and associated processes. The team is focused on the employee and manager experience including the ability to quickly find the needed information to resolve their question or complete an action. The Project/Business Management Lead is a professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy for the organization. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of HR. We are looking for individuals who can manage ambiguity well, demonstrate a curious mindset and will lean into the opportunity to support the initiatives related to transforming the way we work, understand the existing landscape and taking ownership to find solutions and deliver change.Advisory & Leadership Responsibilities:
Serve as an advisor to HR and other partners on HR applications, processes, change impacts, etc.
Actively engage in activities aimed at streamlining, simplifying, and standardizing processes across Human Resources Disciplines.
Establish yourself as a subject matter expert and data-driven advisor on processes within remit; including identifying tangible metrics to monitor and measure the impact of implemented changes.
Day-to-day management of individual and team Book of Work and project responsibilities including milestone setting, task and actions management, coordination and execution of plan within required timelines and to stakeholder quality expectations.
Provide implementation / post-implementation support.
Act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Drive productivity/ cost savings initiatives in partnership with the overall HRP&D organization.
Participate in key stakeholder (process owners, HR teams, systems support and technology teams) meetings to assess scope of strategic needs, educate stakeholders on strategy, and make recommendations for achieving desired impact. Specifically related to HR technology including HR ServiceNow (Help Center), CFY, and Workday.
Oversee the work managed by the HRP&D Technology Solutions team.
Project Management Responsibilities:
Partner closely with HR Process Owners and HR teams to monitor the performance of multiple initiatives, projects, and programs as they relate to Workday and HR ServiceNow (Help Center).
Provide detailed analyses for the overall impacts resulting from Projects and Change Requests.
Engage in activities related to change management, as necessary.
Ensure correct and meaningful meeting minutes with clear deliverables are captured, distributed and actioned.
Risk and Control Governance Responsibilities:
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Monitor team control processes and conduct quality assurance activities where necessary for established processes.
Monitor Book of Work for team projects and change requests ensuring all applicable items are included and have current details including description, start and end dates, status, etc.
Manage and track Issues and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) as necessary.
Oversee risk and control activities associated with the HRP&D Technology Solutions Team.
Serve as the delegate for manager for approvals and controls (e.g., approvals for access/application requests, production migrations, requirements documentation prior to submission, etc.).
Qualifications:
6+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with knowledge and experience with HR processes and applications such as Workday and HR ServiceNow, process mapping, as well as some project management experience.
Lean Methodology experience would be preferred.
Demonstrated strong organizational, influencing and leadership skills.
Outstanding relationship management, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work for self and others to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
Ability to find issues and problems, generate solutions and choose alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
Ability to learn/understand technical implications of system design.
Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers.
Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong process reengineering skills, including the ability to understand the why behind processes and offer suggestions on how to streamline and improve functionality and processes.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.).
Excellent data skills, including the ability to identify the right data sets and transform that data into insights and recommendations for actions.
Experience working in global environments and successfully delivering results with virtual teams/partners.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes, pivot quickly when priorities change, and remain flexible during periods of ambiguity.
Experience providing guidance and support to others on day-to-day work and initiatives.
Ability to successfully work with limited direct supervision.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
