We are looking for friendly and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Sushi Restaurant Servers. As a Server in our sushi restaurant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. From warmly greeting customers upon arrival to guiding them through the menu and delivering their orders with precision and efficiency, you will ensure that every guest receives attentive and personalized service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant environment while gaining valuable hospitality experience.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant.
Seat guests and present menus, making recommendations and answering any questions about menu items or specials.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests or dietary restrictions are noted.
Relay orders to the kitchen and sushi bar staff, monitoring order progress and ensuring timely delivery to tables.
Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly.
Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions with professionalism and integrity.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables as needed.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining room and preparing for the next shift.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a server or customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi terminology is a plus, but not required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
