Position Overview
As a Press Assistant, you'll play a key support role in our production process, working directly with our press operators to ensure efficient, high-quality print jobs. This is a hands-on, physical position that’s perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
.Assist in setting up and tearing down jobs on both manual and automatic screen printing presses
.Load and unload garments on the press
.Help mix and prepare inks as needed
.Maintain cleanliness of the press area and equipment
.Inspect prints for quality and consistency
.Fold, count, and box finished garments
.Communicate effectively with the press operator and production team
Qualifications
.Prior experience in screen printing is a plus but not required—willing to train the right person
.Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
.Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
.Positive attitude and willingness to learn
.Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
.Must be comfortable in a warehouse/production environment
