For more than 40 years, Sunrise Landscape, a commercial landscape maintenance, design and installation company, has been serving West Central Florida with a commitment to landscape and service excellence. We have an opportunity for an experienced Spray/Fertilization Technician to join the Sunrise team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our clients' landscapes with precision and care. Key responsibilities include spreading fertilizer, mixing, and applying chemicals, and other related tasks.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and dedicated professional with strong manual dexterity and at least two years of experience in the lawn and ornamental field. You must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., working outdoors in high temperatures, and operating both a hose & reel and a zero-turn spray machine. A clean driving record with a valid US license (for a minimum of 3 years) is essential.
Responsibilities:
Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on assigned properties.
Diagnose and treat insects/diseases; perform weed control.
Complete pre-trip duties of loading equipment/chemicals for daily routes.
Drive truck/trailer to and from job sites.
Identify additional needs at assigned properties.
Follow company safety protocols, identify, and communicate safety issues to the team
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a landscape fertilization department/role.
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Clean driving record with a valid US license (for a minimum of 3 years).
