Job Opportunity: Mitigation / Cleaning Technician or Manager
We are looking for a dedicated Restoration Technicians and Managers to join our team! This role involves the mitigation and clean-up of residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, smoke, and other damages. Opportunities for Manager role based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Mitigation Duties:
- Prepare containment of affected areas as needed.
- Set up and operate necessary equipment.
- Demolish and remove damaged contents.
- Extract water and remove sewage overflow.
- Dry carpets, walls, sheetrock, and subfloors.
- Conduct mold removal.
Cleaning Duties:
- Vacuum and clean mold, using antimicrobial towels.
- Wash all contents after fire damage with appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Paint surfaces, including new drywall and doors.
- Caulk and fill nail holes on trim and cabinets to prepare for painting.
- Pack out and clean items at the office, based on size and quantity.
- Take soiled materials (clothes, bedding, curtains, etc.) to a laundromat.
Requirements:
- IICRC Certification
- Dependable transportation.
- Clear communication skills with customers and co-workers.
- Own tools and a vehicle for transporting them.
- Valid driver's license.
- Physically capable of performing various handyman jobs, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs when necessary.
