Must possess Microsoft Office Specialist certification or equivalent demonstration of skills to integrate organizational processes into Microsoft Office tools or other government provided applications.
Analyzes business processes to identify areas where digital technologies can be applied to improve efficiency, reduce costs, or enhance productivity.
Analyzes operations to identify areas where digital technologies can be applied to improve efficiency, reduce costs, or enhance operations.
Develops digital transformation strategy to integrate processes once opportunities have been identified and continues to monitor and optimize processes to ensure the organization realizes the full benefits of the transformation.
Works with 1 AF Knowledge Management Officer to align directorate processes with organizational policies and procedures.
Coordinates with HHQ Knowledge Management Office and J6 staffs to understand future digital transformation efforts and align 1 AF initiatives for interoperability.
Prepares a wide variety of recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documents from information obtained from the staff, files, and other sources.
Research files and other sources thoroughly and prepares documents in accordance with Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force, and First Air Force regulations and policies.
Prepares and finalizes various reports, determining and modifying format, content, and frequency requirements.
Independently composes and prepares nontechnical correspondence such as requests for information concerning the organization’s mission and programs; office procedures; and letters of acknowledgement, commendation, or notification.
Anticipates need for information, gathers and summarizes information from files, and systematically prepares material so that it is immediately available for senior leaders.
Tracks, reviews, and schedules military/civilian appraisals, decorations, and awards.
Proos and edits correspondence and documents for correct grammar, spelling, and format.
Coordinates correspondence to appropriate internal directorate or external organizations on behalf of the Director.
Receives telephone calls and meeting requests for senior leaders.
Organizes A6 Directors daily schedule, provides daily summary of meetings, and deconflicts with outside entities.
Administers programs and serves as the primary source of information for Directorate-level responsibilities.
Administers the Records Management program, ensuring the correct retention and disposition of administrative reports, policies, and files.
Proposes alternate approaches to management to operate programs more efficiently.
Performs office management duties to include maintaining office services; designing electronic and paper filing systems; maintaining office efficiently by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement; and designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures.
Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the organization.

Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

The likely salary range for this position is $51,000 - $69,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
