Description We are looking for a meticulous individual to fill the role of a Controller in our team. This role is based in West Palm Beach and is focused on establishing financial processes, controls, and team structures. As the Controller, you will be in charge of managing cash flow, overseeing accounting functions, and driving financial performance.Responsibilities: Correct books for several entities for approximately 3-4 years Establish and oversee the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, financial controls, and reporting systems Develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making Manage cash flow, monitor Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and explore creative lending solutions Provide strategic insights and financial guidance in partnership meetings Lead financial strategy and operations with potential to grow into a higher role as the company scales Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant skills to perform duties effectively Ensure the auditing and budgeting processes are carried out efficiently Prepare cash flow reports and oversee month-end close procedures Use your skills in budgeting and forecasting to support the financial health of the company.Requirements Must possess at least 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position. Proven proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Quickbooks Online is required. Demonstrable skills in ADP - Financial Services are necessary. Experience in handling Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential. Previous experience in Auditing and Budget Processes is expected. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable. Capable of creating and analyzing Cash Flow Reports. Should be able to handle Month End Close processes efficiently. Skills in Budgeting and Forecasting are necessary.
