Nuhma Inflight Dining is looking for a Dishwasher to join our growing team. We are a full service private catering company providing in-flight fine dining for the private aviation industry. We have both full-time and part-time positions available.
As a Dishwasher, you are responsible for cleaning dishes, equipment, and utensils before, during and after service. The Dishwasher maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen and in all outlets and is an integral part of a team that values hard work and attention to every detail.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- Sort and remove trash, placing in the designated pickup areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Maintain department cleanliness and organization
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a high-volume, fast paced kitchen
- High standards for cleanliness of workspace and service areas
- Ability to think quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills conducive to a productive teamwork environment
- English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
