OBGYN Specialists of South Miami is looking for full time medical assistant for our busy practice. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a medical setting (OBGYN experience ideal) Candidate will have a pleasant demeanor and should be able to work with others and have reliable transportation, bilingual required. Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:45 - 5:30, Friday 8:45 - 1:30. (36-40 Hours a week) Obstetrical experience is a plus but not required. Duties include:
1) Medical Assistant Duties
a) Taking Vital Signs
b) Assisting physician in the exam rooms
c) Entering data in EMR
d) Returning patient phone calls
e) Responding and triaging phone messages
f) Any other duties as assigned
