We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to maintain the aesthetic appeal and health of our outdoor spaces. Position is Located in Pompano Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and lawn care, ensuring that our grounds are well-kept and inviting. This role involves working with various hand and power tools, as well as performing tasks related to irrigation and garden upkeep.
Duties:
Must have a clean and valid Drivers License
Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
Care for flower beds, shrubs, and trees by planting, watering, fertilizing, trimming and pruning as necessary.
Operate hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and hoes to maintain gardens and landscaped areas.
Utilize power tools such as lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers safely and effectively.
Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
Maintain cleanliness of all groundskeeping equipment and tools after use.
Collaborate with team members to execute seasonal landscaping projects.
Qualifications
Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant care best practices is a plus.
Ability to operate various hand tools and power equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of appearance in outdoor spaces.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
