Full service landscape company located in Jupiter, FL is looking for an experience mechanic for gas and diesel vehicles, maintenance and landscape equipment. Mainly work with Gravely, Toro, and Echo equipment. Vehicles are pickup trucks and small Hino dump trucks.
Qualifications:
Must have experience with mowers, small engines, 2 cycle equipment, and utility vehicles;
Must possess a strong mechanical skill-set including knowledge of basic electrical systems, hydraulic systems, mower technology and engines (both gasoline and diesel);
Basic automotive repair;
Willing to work as a team and have strong communication skills;
Strong organizational skills for record keeping, shop cleanliness, and inventory and parts ordering. Must be proactive on preventative maintenance and flexible on finding ways to repair equipment.
Responsibilities:
Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on all company vehicles, landscape maintenance equipment, loaders, and all other landscape equipment.
Mechanic will be responsible for keeping shop clean and organized.
Spanish/English preferred but not required.
