Responsibilities:
Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
Answering phone
Writing email correspondence
Scanning, filing, copying, binding, etc
Performing data entry
Communicating with new or current vendors
Assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Resolving accounting problems as needed
Assisting with week and month closing activities
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
AA degree required, BS degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
1-3 years of financial or accounting experience.
Payroll experience.
Strong computer skills with recent experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
Strong Bookkeeping skills.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
Excellent written communications skills; strong oral communication skills on the telephone and in-person.
Dependable, punctual and courteous. Regular and timely attendance required.
Self-motivated and able to stay on task with little or no supervision.
Ability to work Monday through Friday from 9 A.M. until 5 P.M.
