Day 1 Onsite Only Responsibilities:
- Must have experience in implementing and using configuration management for multi-environment IT applications.
- Ability to implement and work on various IT Infra & Application using ServiceNow Discovery, CSDM [Common Service Data Model] & Service Mapping.
- Experience around configuring custom discovery patterns, integrating to tools other than ServiceNow to fetch the data and further normalize.
- Knowledge on other ServiceNow Modules like ITOM, ITSM is a plus.
- Develop and implement continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies in End-to-End Asset Management Life Cycle
- Experience implementing and administrating Flexera One and/or similar industry standard ITAM solutions
- Troubleshoot, identify, and implement technical fixes for product issues, integration issues, data discrepancy and business reporting.
- Ability to engage customers and operation teams to resolve root cause issues in a positive, non-adversarial manner.
- Demonstrate proven leadership skills, be an independent performer and be able to deliver with minimal or no supervision.
- Should have experience in describing provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits.
- Great organization skills to prioritize, follow up, deliver, and communicate status of assigned actions.
- Deep analytical skills to understand complex procedural problems, identify root causes and provide solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area of study
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
- Without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience
- Analysis skills: Ability to evaluate the current environment, gather needs, and propose a recommended CM solution
- Design/architect skills: Ability to define and design CM standards for the technology
- CM process skills: Ability to define manageable CM processes (check-out/check-in, merge, build, release, etc.) and implement them
- Basic networking skills: Knowledge of Infrastructure / Networking, Networking Protocols, WMI, Subnet masks, SNMP etc.
- Customer service and communication skills: Ability to work graciously with users while resolving their issues
- Training and facilitation skills: Ability to prepare CM technology and process training for users and the ability to deliver the training effectively.
- Possess strong problem solving, prioritization & solution-oriented analytical skills.
- Excellent documentation skills
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of tools like ServiceNow, Morpheus, OpsRamp, Nagios, SolarWinds, Prometheus etc., their HL architecture and capabilities.
