Position Summary
The Production Supervisor supervises few employees in a t shirts and Embroidery environment. will plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
Essential Duties AND Responsibilities
Understand and be able to operate all equipment and troubleshooting
Ability to understand the production schedule and ensure the schedule is followed
Responsible for ensuring the inventory management system is being utilized correctly and accurately
Ensuring effective employee relations; providing employee coaching and development; resolving employee issues through problem resolution
Balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas; working to continuously improve in all areas
Managing departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and providing regular progress reports
Monitor systematic key performance indicators (KPI s) and help with continuous improvement on said findings
Record daily numbers and send updated report throughout the day and end of shift
Responsible for implementing all company policies including GMP, PPE, Food Safety, Safety and Sanitation
Responsible for ensuring all employees are adhering to food safety guidelines
Maintain facility and employees to always be audit ready
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
working experience in a manufacturing environment
Entry Level management type role required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with strong team-building skills
Ability to understand and use our computer applications and data collection and recording (Excel,SAP, Email, etc.)
A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
Ability to think ahead and plan over a 30-day time span and prepare action plans to achieve results
Quality orientation and attention to detail
An ability to manage multiple priorities
