We are currently searching for a Manager of Enterprise Data Platforms responsible for installing, operating, supporting, and maintaining a large and high transactional set of systems requiring a high degree of availability and performance. In this role you will manage and lead a team of highly technical professionals ensuring the operational reliability, performance, and efficiency of a large and complex ecosystem of data-related applications and services. You will manage employees and on/off shore contractors in a 24x7 support capacity. You will get the opportunity to constantly learn new technologies including open source. This role reports to the Senior Director, Technology.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions: - Manage a team of 15+ resources including employees and contractors, both on and off shore, 24 x 7. - Collaborate with other Operations, Development, and Infrastructure teams to understand and support the needs of the business. - Manage systems and processes that monitor system health and continually improve proactive service assurance. - Automate repetitive activities including patching, upgrades, proactive service restarts and testing/validations. - Improve failure recovery time by implementing self-heal and automated recovery features. - Lead and drive multiple software and infrastructure projects such as new implementations or upgrades of existing infrastructure with a minimum of disruption to customers. - Conduct root cause analysis investigations and formulate correction action plans. - Manage the day-to-day task assignments for members of the team. - Ensure that the team has 24 x 7 operational coverage with regard to service assurance and provide proper escalations/communications to upper management when required. - Coach, develop, and mentor onshore and offshore resources. - Continually evaluate and improve system reliability and performance while lowering TCO. - Manage capital and expense budgets. - Identify gaps and make improvements across people, process, and technology areas. - Partner with cross-functional departments to manage rollout schedules and technology releases ensuring business needs are supported in all phases throughout the process.

Qualifications:

Minimum: - Generally 5+ years experience in related field (i.e. data platforms, data warehousing, data integration, or business intelligence) OR generally 3+ years experience in related field if candidate has an advanced degree. - 7+ years of experience in an IT capacity. - 2+ years of experience in a leadership capacity with direct reports or proven leadership within departmental or cross functional teams. - Experience identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements across people, process, and technology. - Excellent communication skills. - Proven ability to interact at all levels of leadership, both in person and through digital mediums.

Preferred: - Prior leadership experience managing 15+ direct reports - 10+ years of experience in a data platforms, data warehousing, data integration, or business intelligence capacity - Prior leadership experience managing off shore, third party labor resources - Previous experience managing budgets - Previous experience working in an IT Operations capacity - ITIL certified - Six Sigma Green Belt certified - Hands on experience with Informatica, OBIEE, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud technologies Who We Are
