This role will be providing logistical support and management of activities associated with a grant-funded Professional Development Core and Network Core.JOB DESCRIPTION:Manages administrative and research activities in support of a specialized program or research center.

Develops plans for program growth and development and serves as a liaison to various committees or organizations.

May oversee the planning, logistics and implementation of various special events such as lectures, seminars, conferences, or research projects.

Participates in developing and implementing various program related communications such as websites, publications, multimedia or video productions.

May hire and supervise administrative or research related staff.

Performs related responsibilities as required.

SPECIFIC DETAILS:Will provide creative input into the design, launch, and ongoing oversight of a new digital platform that will be established under this person’s direction to attract, educate, and engage network participants.

Will provide the voice for the program across social media channels and as such, knowledge of and use of social media platforms, such as Facebook, Slack, and Twitter as well as website programming will be essential to promote events, program accomplishments, and spotlight students, faculty, staff and their research.

Will serve as the creative driver establishing innovative ways to disseminate information and promote the engagement of students, faculty, and staff.

Will provide logistical support and oversight for scheduling and advertising program-related events, creation of newsletters, curation of social media accounts, and driving collaborative workgroups and other related research activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A bachelor's degree in business or related field.

Five years of professional experience in a related field such as business administration, research, or information systems management.

Requires previous supervisory and program/project management experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Prior experience creating newsletter content, curating social media accounts, and driving collaborative workgroups and other related research activities.
