Security Engineering Manager, SLED Southeast

Eligible candidates based in GA, MD, DC, VA, NC, SC, or FL are encouraged to apply.Lead, coach, and mentor the Sales Engineering team, providing strong technical and people leadership while driving pre-sales excellence and execution.Manage, develop, and inspire a team of Security Engineers, including performance coaching, career development, and alignment with sales objectives.Be hands-on in pre-sales activities while balancing leadership responsibilities across the SE organization.Provide technical pre-sales assistance for customers and partners.Partner closely with Sales leadership to develop existing accounts and drive new business opportunities.Deliver technical product and solution presentations.Actively participate in IT security events and trade shows as a speaker.Develop integrated technical solutions by translating customer business requirements into effective security architectures.Technically close complex and competitive opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical expertise, and credibility.Identify revenue-impacting support escalations and proactively engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.Proactively collaborate with Product Management, Business Units, Sales, and Marketing.Maintain a broad understanding of the security threat landscape and the IT security industry, including current and emerging trends.
