If you are talented, driven, enjoy the pace of a start-up like environment, let’s talk!Position Title & Overview:As the Sr. People Operations Specialist, Total Rewards you will be the subject matter expert in Mediavine’s total rewards programs, partner closely with legal on compliance matters and be a key champion of our employer value proposition (EVP). As a member of the People Operations team, you will manage the relationship with our PEO to include evaluating their services and managing any necessary changes. Your deep experience with benefit plan management and employee engagement positions you as a critical resource on the team. Essential Responsibilities:

Administer programs including, but not limited to; benefits, leave, perks, wellness, compliance, health and safety

Ensure the consistent application of employee benefits and perks to ensure both competitive, cost effective and inclusive offerings to attract and retain high performing talent

Partner with the People Operations Leadership team to align total rewards strategies with broader business objectives, short and long term projects, and organizational culture

Manage relationship with our current PEO, Insperity, ensuring maximum benefit from the relationship and recommending changes when necessary

Manage Mediavine’s PEO portal; to include team member education and engagement

Lead annual open enrollment to include communication and team member education

Administer all aspects of employee leave programs; ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and timely processing and communication of leave requests

Manage a competitive 401k plan, which includes Plan Administrator duties, as well as all ongoing ERISA compliance, reporting and filing requirements

Serve as leave administrator both in establishing, maintaining or revising programs and providing direct support to team members

Ensure compliance across all rewards programs with local, state and federal regulations including periodic review of plan documents, auditing, preparing required compliance reporting, and disseminating required notices

Remain informed on new, existing and changing or proposed labor & employment laws, rules and regulations partnering closely with legal when changes require workforce implementation

Administer accommodations as required by the ADA, maintaining necessary compliance and team member support

Development of communications to ensure that leaders and team members remain informed on matters related to total rewards and compliance

Partner with POPs leadership in the continuous improvement of onboarding and offboarding

Contribute to the development, documentation and improvement of processes and procedures within the POPs department with the shared goal of providing best in class programs and services to our team members

Collaborate with team members to promote engagement opportunities; embracing a high touch approach that supports a positive and engaging employee experience

Develop and deliver communication materials and presentations to educate employees about total rewards programs and updates

Available to travel to on-site locations for team retreats and the annual all hands events approximately 20% of the time

RequirementsLocation:

Applicants must be based in the United States

You Have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR or a related field

7+ years progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines including Benefits/Total Rewards, Compliance, Operations and Compensation

5+ years of experience establishing and managing employee benefit / rewards programs

3+ years of experience providing HR partnership and programming to a distributed remote workforce

3+ years of experience working directly with a PEO, in a co-employer relationship

Experience with transition of PEO partnership, preferred

Experience with mid-market HR tools like BambooHR, Lattice and CultureAmp as well other tools such as Google Suite, Notion and Slack

Experience managing employer and workforce compliance as it relates to federal and state employment laws

Experience managing employee relations matters, balancing discretion and confidentiality as needed

Experience with leave management; particularly variances by state

Experience conducting, compiling and presenting research and analysis of market data supporting the continued investment in competitive and inclusive benefits programs

Exceptional business acumen with ability to quickly learn and understand an organization and its business to best support the team members

A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging

Ability to think strategically and to translate directives into both strategic and/ or tactical initiatives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) up and down the organization, from individuals and department leads to C-Suite

Experience and interest in working as a team with the ability to work autonomously when needed and take initiative

An exceptionally strong work ethic and are highly motivated and driven to execute against goals

Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously

Availability to travel to on-site locations for team retreats and the annual all hands events approximately 20% of the time

Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications. The base salary range for this role at the time of posting is $120,000 - $130,000 USD/yr.
