A young HNW family in Atlanta are looking for an excellent and experienced housekeeper to work 20 hours per week to keep their 5000 sq ft home clean and tidy. The focus will on general housekeeping, laundry, errand running and help with the dogs. Candidates must have great attention to detail, be team players, and have an enthusiastic and upbeat personality. They are looking for someone focused on this career who wants to be with a family long term. They should have experience and excellent references, as well as their own car for errand running and getting to and from work.
Hours: 20 hours per week; either 5 hours per day, or 2.5 days per week Monday – Friday
Salary: $35-40 per hour
Benefits: 5 days of PTO and 3 sick days + federal holidays
The Family: Dad, Mom, 2 yr toddler, and 2 dogs (Boston Terrier and Boxer)
The House: 5,000 sqft 5 Beds, 4 baths, pool, garage, some stairs
Other Staff: A full-time nanny
Key Duties:
General housekeeping and organizing of the home, including deep cleans and light outside assistance (screened porch, handling outside furniture)
Organizing professional cleaners as needed for specialized jobs
Ordering supplies and toiletries, making sure supplies do not run low, and recording receipts
Errand running (e.g. dry cleaning, groceries etc.)
Tidying the kitchen, organizing the refrigerator
Managing all laundry; linens, towels, clothes etc.
Greeting contractors and overseeing appointments
Greeting guests and making them a coffee etc.
Assisting with the dogs, vet trips and groom drop off if needed
Requirements
Strong command of English language; good communication skills, both written and verbal
A clean valid Driver’s License, with own car to travel to and from work, and possibly run errands with
Legally able to work within the United States
Happy to wear smart clothing (not uniform) when in the principal’s home
Minimum 2-3 years working in a similar role
Must be comfortable working with children and dogs
Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
