Leasing Consultant Sought, preferably bilingual but not essential (English/Spanish)

For commercial landlord with multiple office buildings specializing in leasing small offices to small businesses. We are looking for a full time or part time leasing consultant, primarily to serve our two buildings in Gwinnett County with Norcross and Peachtree Corners addresses but occasionally also our other buildings. As most of the work is in Gwinnett, we will give preference to those with smaller commute.

Experience

Prefer Minimum 1-3 years leasing experience preferred with stable work history

Bilingual (Spanish and English) speaking AND written preferred

Full Time but may consider part-time

Saturdays may be required

Salary

$38-$42k plus benefits (full-time)

Locations:

Primary location: Norcross & Peachtree Corners. note we do have two buildings in Gwinnett, but may be asked to occasionally go to other locations.

You must have drivers license AND a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

Touring offices with prospects

Lease and/or pre-lease offices

Complete lease/renewal paperwork

Explain lease and all paperwork to the client

Assist in licensing for tenants if for auto dealer tenants

Operating property management , MS word and excel as well as sign software systems

Assist with tenant relations

Assist bookkeeper with collections/evictions if needed

Maintain a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing office.

Answers incoming phone calls and walk-ins

Handle Mail, Fedex, UPS as needed

Greets prospective and current tenants

Performs any additional duties assigned by owner, manager or supervisor.

Must have Superb customer service skills.

Assist and/or support leasing and marketing efforts to achieve the property’s occupancy goals.

Maintain good tenant relations

Walking vacant units, performing move-in and move-out inspections.

Inspecting property and ensuring cleanliness and attractive curb appeal.

Deliver late notice and eviction letters directly to offices

Create work orders and check on tenant created work orders for maintenance

Work closely with maintenance

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Team player with ability to work well with others but MUST be able to work reliably alone without constant supervision as most of time will be working alone

Ability to work independently with limited supervision, prioritize duties, manage time efficiently, and multi-task.

Ability to function well in a high-paced environment

Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to create and maintain strong relationships with tenants, employees and visitors.

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.

Must be able to follow instructions
