Position Summary
Sales Associates support the Store Manager by delivering excellent customer service, processing transactions, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store compliance and cleanliness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient customer service.
Accurately process transactions through the POS system.
Stock and rotate merchandise and maintain displays.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the entire store.
Assist with tastings and promotional events as directed.
Check IDs and ensure compliance with Georgia alcohol and tobacco laws.
Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older and able to lift 40 pounds.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Performance Standards
Customer Service: Positive interactions, upselling of cigars/accessories, and participation in tastings/events.
Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality; adherence to assigned shifts (≈20 hours/week).
Store Presentation: Proper stocking, rotation, and cleanliness are maintained.
Team Contribution: Eligibility for the monthly bonus pool, Employee of the Month recognition, and holiday pay tied to teamwork and reliability.
An Alcohol Sales Permit is necessary to sell Alcohol in a retail environment.
