Forensic Media Specialist Studio & Sales -Vacant / Remote & Studio
Creating and producing evidence-based forensic media at Crutchfield Agency, LLC., to include image digital multimedia, audio digital multimedia, video digital multimedia and digital graphics for courtroom. The main duties for this position include, but not limited to; clarifying, enhancing, creating, and preserving data from electronic digital sources to include video, audio, and photos; reviewing/extracting digital file video, audio, and photos from various digital devices and uploading to video, audio, and photo software’s for forensic service operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Preserve and provide expert review of data from electronic data sources, including hardware, network servers, and mobile devices to ensure the evidential integrity of the data is not compromised; prepare, maintain, and safeguard all file documentation, reports, and materials.
Conduct forensics processes, acquisitions, extractions, and examinations of digital media evidence; create forensic images; create working copies of evidence for case agents; maintain evidentiary chain of custody and property controls; retrieve evidence from analog and digital systems, both in lab and at off-site locations.
Provide expert testimony in trials and other proceedings.
Occasionally provides advice, assistance, and instruction to detectives and other law enforcement personnel.
Operate a variety of computer hardware and software applications to conduct forensic examinations.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree in Digital Media Forensics, Forensic Science, criminal justice, audio production or closely related field AND two (2) years of experience working with review and redaction of digital evidence in a forensic laboratory or law enforcement; equivalent experience as a multi-media or digital forensic technician may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Knowledge of:
Must have extensive knowledge and experience in the following areas:
Media Evidence in the field of digital Forensics
Knowledge in extracting data from electronic devices and software applications
Understanding of digital video recorders (DVR) and other forms of digital storage media.
File system forensics
Adobe software programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
Video editing and exporting. IzoTope Everything - IzoTope RX 10
Forensic processes and best practices; forensic tools and software.
Conducting examinations; preparing reports; and providing testimony.
Skill in:
Written and oral communication
Management of Cloud-based data systems
Evidence controls
Editing video and audio materials
Problem solving and decision-making.
Ability to:
Manage multiple tasks and prioritize assigned work projects
Remain professional, remain calm, and handle stressful and uncertain situations professionally

Crutchfield Agency offers commission and per project pay for the Forensic Media Specialist position currently.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday’s.
May be subject to call back hours. Works some holidays, works some nights, works some weekends,
