Position Overview:
We are seeking a local O&M Electrical Helper to join our team to assist maintaining utility scale solar projects in Waynesboro, GA. Candidates with electrical experience in solar industry industrial is preferred.
Schedule: 5 X8's
Start: ASAP (Temp to Permanent position)
Pay Rate: $20.00-$23.00
Responsibilities:
Assisting Sr Level O&M Technicians on ground mount solar projects
Install, connect, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components related to solar.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and components to identify and correct issues efficiently.
Utilize appropriate hand tools (i.e., crescent wrench, pliers, hammer, screwdriver) and power tools (i.e., drills, impact wrenches) to install systems per codes and standards using drawings, schematics, and instructions.
Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1-2+ years of solar installation experience preferred on commercial or utility scale solar projects.
Preferred electrical experience in industrial settings
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
